Our Venue less than an hour away from London
Located just one mile from the centre of Bedford, King’s House is ideally placed to provide easy access to the A1 and M1. It’s an ideal location for both local events and for those inviting guests from across the UK. Furthermore we offer on-site parking for 90 vehicles. Our 11 syndicate rooms are comfortable, spacious and have the capacity to accommodate between 2 and 260 delegates. Our auditorium seats 550 delegates. With smaller meeting rooms costing just £10 per hour, we offer highly affordable options.

Safe meeting spaces
Cleanliness has always been top priority at King’s House, but it’s even more critical as we all aim to reduce the spread of infection.
We have set up increased sanitation schedules for all areas, with specific attention on high traffic locations.
All rooms will be cleaned and disinfected at the start and end of each session, including:
• Tables and chair backs
• Light switches and thermostats
• Door and window handles and sills
• Bin lids
• AV accessories and remote controls
• A cleaning kit will be available in the meeting rooms for use during the day.
We have redecorated our foyer and given the whole building a deep clean using disinfectant spray for wiping down surfaces. We have hand-sanitising points throughout the venue.
We have a new menu for both the coffee shop chiller and for our corporate guests. We’re doing individually wrapped portions and “grab and go” bags for guests. We utilise our outdoor space as much as possible with additional outdoor furniture positioned to ensure appropriate distancing.
Our room capacities have changed to keep plenty of space around delegates. Cabaret tables will have just 6 delegates per table (they used to seat 12) and theatre style will give 1m spaces between both rows and chairs. Boardroom, classroom and U-shaped meetings now has each delegate with their own desk.
We have purchased additional furniture in our newly renovated Ground Floor Coffee shop, which has been rearranged to ensure appropriate distancing.
The use of the toilets will be monitored so that queues don’t form.
